Limestone Plant

The plant we serve.

Limestone Electric Generating Station. 2- 800mw lignite fired units. Located
on the Limestone, Freestone and Leon County lines, 9 miles north of Jewett,
Texas on FM 39. The plant and mine cover approximately 3200 acres.
The plant employs approximately 400 people and is owned and operated by
Reliant Energy based in Houston, Texas.
